special godparents

senait and yonas are my cousins. children of zufan, my father’s sister. we were reunited after almost 24 years after they agreed to become the godparents of michael. what an honor. they say for them, but also for me, for us.
until i was ten years old, i was an only child. i envied very much that senait and yonas had each other. i badly wanted a brother or a sister. we were told by our parents that we were all siblings. so i believed it. for some time i believed that i was their oldest sister. everywhere we went we told everyone that we were all siblings and believe me, i was proud to be their oldest sister. they have lived in england now for over 20 years and we just never got around to meeting. meeting after all these years was very special and exciting.
