loop de loo

artist: elizabeth bunsen
my very own eb original masterpiece has crossed the atlantic ocean and finally arrived safe and sound here this morning. it is positively even more enticing to look at in person than in the photo. she said to me that it was inspired by the children’s song loop de loo . the song stuck in her head while she and her son boone “got in a groove” painting together one day. i love it and am ecstatic to have it in my home. elizabeth bunsen is an amazing artist who also works with children and offers workshops and camps in the summer. she runs her own gallery and art studio alley cat arts in burlington, vermont where she regulary showcases her paintings, jewelery, and sculptures. we will pay this delightful woman a visit next time we are on her side of the atlantic ocean!

July 18th, 2007 at 2:02 pmIt is beautiful, I love the color! I really don’t know what is going on with blogspot, I heard people complaining before about not being able to leave comments. This is not good! Thanks for visiting my blog and for your email. Here is the link to the playdough recipe http://babyparenting.about.com/cs/activities/a/playdough.htm, we haven’t tried yet, as my son is now busy moving the coffee table around and building houses out of pillows and blankets. Now the mess is in the living room… He is very quiet, better check. Bis bald.
