savoring summer
picnic lunches and afternoon swims
picking berries and making jams
good friends and backyard grill parties
garden loving and summer reading
creating salads and hosting brunches
lakeside dates and glorious sunsets
bike rides for ice-cream cones
quick getaways and camping adventures filled with as many possible nights spent under the stars
busy. that is the word that best describes our lives this summer. filled with projects- both personal and professional. still, despite the busy and the very strange weather conditions bestowed upon us, we have and continue to take every opportunity to savor the season. hope you are too.

August 27th, 2009 at 9:24 pmHi Elsa,
Thanks for coming by, today is the anniversary of my husbands accident, tomorrow of his death. Very hard moments for me, even 3 years later, but my little boy makes me smile and gives me lots of happiness. I wish the same for you and your family. Your boy is precious. My email is carmen.valero@gmail.com
Best wishes,

August 30th, 2009 at 5:12 pmI’m so glad the season’s been filledwith picnics and picking berries, and all sorts of summer delights for you and that adorable little guy, perched on the picnic blanket. We’ve had strange weather here too. Cool most of the summer, till this last week of August, when it’s over a hundred everyday…
I didn’t know about the Seven Sleepers till now, but now that makes me wonder what our weather was, on Seven Sleepers day.
So good to find you here again!
XOXOXO
