the winter morning sun shining in
cold, wet, and dark, afternoons that are brightened by my sweet boy
wool socks and flannel pajamas
a dozen roses for 1.99 € at the grocery store checkout line
making the season an occasion to gather with friends and warm the spirit
movie night: cuddling on the sofa wrapped in blankets for a christmas story
dreaming of and planning for our growing family 
looking forward to discovering and creating more joys to treasure this season !

And we celebrate st. nick here, ever since i was a little girl, mostly because milwaukee has a huge german influence. it’s buildings, food… the list goes on. Many beautiful settlers stories here. Google it, you will be surprised.
